1. Definition of the viewing angle of a full-color LED screen

The viewing angle refers to the angle at which users can clearly observe all the contents on the screen from different directions. The viewing angle can also be understood as the maximum or minimum angle at which the screen image can be clearly seen. And the viewing angle is a reference value. The viewing angle of the LED full-color display includes two indicators: horizontal and vertical.

For example, the technical parameters of the LED display are described as follows (viewing angle: 140°/140°); it means that the maximum viewing angle is 140°, and the horizontal and vertical maximum viewing angles are both 140°. After exceeding 140 degrees, the viewing effect is poor or there is a blind spot.

The horizontal viewing angle means that the vertical normal of the full-color LED display (i.e. the vertical imaginary line in the middle of the LED display) is used as the standard. The display image can still be seen normally at a certain angle to the left or right of the normal. This angle range is the horizontal viewing angle of the LED full-color display; similarly, if the horizontal normal is used as the standard, the upper and lower viewing angles are called vertical viewing angles. Generally speaking, the viewing angle is based on the contrast change. When the observation angle increases, the contrast of the display image seen at this position will decrease. When the angle increases to a certain extent and the contrast drops to 10:1, this angle is the maximum viewing angle of the full-color LED display.

However, the size of the viewing angle is mainly determined by the tube core packaging method, so it must be carefully considered when packaging the tube core.

In addition, the viewing angle has a lot to do with the viewing angle and distance, but at present, most LED display manufacturers have unified angles. If you customize the angle for you according to the on-site situation, the cost will be very high.
